Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she studied the flute piano and harpsichord for three years. Lennox made it through on a student's stipend as well as working part-time in order to earn a living. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance compared to her student classmates and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. However, she left shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. From 1977 to 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. The band she was in, was met by Dave Stewart. Together they created the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox was later able to record her debut solo album Diva. It was released in 1992. It was an enormous achievement as well as sales and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz tunes. Lepidoptera, a collection four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album, which was released in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a singer. In the late 70s, she gained a little fame when part the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva produced many successful tracks, such as Why the World is Broken Glass.
